How many rounds of Changes are Included?

After the first design, two sets of amends are included. Believe it or not, with the right research, sometimes even only one change is needed! We are very thorough in the beginning stages. This speeds up your business’ timeline, keeps things organized, as well as keeps costs low. Additional rounds of amends can be added at our day rate whenever needed. We suggest two options:

  • 6-8 weeks, meeting 1x per week to make amends & meet for critique and feedback.
  • 4-5 weeks, meeting 2x / week to make amends & meet for critique and feedback.

Please let us know if you have scheduling or deadline requirements. 

How long will my project take?

We work balance speedy delivery with quality results. Turn-around times are dependent on:

  • How much contribution or collaboration there is & the clarity of instructions.
  • The complexity of the design & further requests.
  • Speciality skills like hand-lettering.
  • Additional materials like subscription services, licenses & printing.
  • If we are working on behalf of your business with printers, third parties, and teams of 3 or more.
  • Number of assets, pages, designs.
  • If the project has become urgent and needs to be expedited.

What are your payment methods?

An initial payment is due upfront in order to schedule work on the calendar and begin the project. All final payments must be completed before sending the final files. Please contact us for our payment methods. We do not accept check. Payment must be cleared before starting the project (for the initial payment), and before releasing final files (for final payments). We do not provide refunds, however if you have questions with the services provided, please contact us as soon as possible.

Are there any additional costs or fees?

Throughout the project additional materials may be required and can include subscriptions to third party services, commercial licenses, costs of supplies, printing, etc. We require that these items be purchased by your company and are not included in our pricing. Because we don’t own the intellectual property to these tools and resources, it’s better in the long term for you to have the purchasing information at hand in the future. We’ll supply all of the information and guidance needed along the way and give your team as much advanced notice as possible, as well as provide alternative options to meet your budget. Generally the following items are not included in pricing or packages (these can vary on a project-by-project basis):

  • Commercial Licenses
  • Stock Photography
  • Typography / Font Licenses
  • Hosting or Domain Names
  • Trademark Applications
  • Printing
  • Third Party Plugins / Subscriptions
Will I own all of my designs once the project is finished?

The short answer is, it depends: Clear communication right from the start is key. We’ll create a custom project agreement so you have the freedom to use everything we create just the way you need. However, we cannot transfer ownership of third party tools or resources because we don’t own the intellectual property.

What if I don’t like my design?

Our process is front loaded with industry research and one-on-one time with your team to develop a brand strategy ensuring that your design resonates with you as well as your customers and industry. From the very first meeting, we’ll sit down together to really understand what you’re looking for. As the project moves forward, we’ll reach out and ask for your written approval at each stage to make sure we’re moving in the right direction. This way, we’re always on the same page and everything aligns with what you’re expecting every step of the way.

Will I be able to use / Make changes myself once the project is finished?

You’ll receive guidelines and the tools and resources to use your designs once they are in your hands. We are also available by phone or email and will do our very best to point you in the right direction if or whenever a question may come up.
